Description:
AACI's outpatient substance abuse treatment program SACPA (Substance Abuse Crime Prevention Act of 2000), also known as Prop 36, provides a treatment alternative to individuals who have been arrested for non-violent drug offenses. The goal of the treatment program is to assist clients in achieving abstinence and recovery from substance abuse.

Services Offered:

  • Individualized assessments and treatment planning designed to engage the client in a long-term recovery process;
  • Psycho-educational and process group counseling sessions focused on assisting clients in achieving stability in their lives and promoting health; and
  • Individual counseling to assist clients toward achieving their recovery goals and increasing their knowledge and awareness of the following:
    • Substance abuse
    • Relapse prevention
    • Family issues
    • Community resources
    • The 12-step philosophy
    • Other
